Hard to find S-Code !! This is a rolling chassis 1967 ford fastback mustang, No engine, No drivetrain, primed paint as pictured, it does have the rear end. I bought this car 6 months ago, and since then I found another one that is more to my liking, more of a rust bucket that I can use my bodywork skills on it and not so much engine work. The following is a description from the previous seller, I chose to buy it without the engine and tranny wanting to take it to original condition. This is a 1967 Mustang GT Fastback S Code (390 4V) engine from factory. Now has a 428 pi engine and automatic transmission that need rebuilt. Engine is std bore and will go back std (block has been freshened, honed, new cam bearings, freeze plugs and decked), heads have been done and ready to bolt on. New aluminum PI intake. Tranny has been sitting for yrs and would also need rebuilt, it is the correct C6 Tranny. This car was one of my personal collection cars and I had planned on keeping it but I'm building a house and need the funds for it. This mustang is nearly rust free, just in the doors like most all of them. The floors and quarters and fenders are rust free. The car has many NOS parts added to it from the previous owner, along with a Shelby wood steering wheel and door sill plates from a Shelby. It has nearly new tires on 16" mags. The trunk is very clean with no rust as is the engine compartment. The frame rails are very nice and clean with no rust. The interior has the original headliner with no tears, the dash looks new and the carpet is nice. The original color was Candy Apple Red and was an original GT car ( see the Marti report). The price listed is less than what I have invested so this is my loss and your gain. You will be hard pressed to fink another GT S code fastback for this price in this condition with a 428 pi Engine.
