So rare EBAY doesent even know it was made WOW... But seriously that is why part says 1980 is EBAY does not understand Grey Market Vin Numbers. These cars came with more horsepower More than ANY other SL R107 Cars. EURO Bumpers and lights. They came with the big 5.0L 8cyl. Engine and Automatic Transmission. This car does not run. It cranks it is in need of a flywheel and i am not gona set there and grind it down,. It has sit for a few years so im sure will have bad fuel by now. By the sound it makes when you try to turn it it sounds like it needs a new fly wheel. Watch the Video i Crank the car and do a full review. I have never had this car running so I can't tell you too much about it. Just wan't to be sure that you know you are buying a very cool project car that with a little work will make someone a great car. The exterior of this car is in really good condition. It's not all beat up and the body is really straight on this car. I like this dark blue color you don't see to many with this metallic blue color. The paint still has a nice shine to it except in the back where it looks like the sun has got to it and is faded on the trunk and the back fenders. Other then that there is not much else I can say bad about it. The car does have the gold package which makes the car even more desireable. This car has a ton of chrome on it. The bumpers & Lights Are still the EURO Model Grey Market Lights and Bumpers it even still Retains the Oig Back Factory Foam Spoiler. Chrome around all the windows, wheel well trim, and the big Chrome Mercedes Grill. All of the chrome is in excellent shape and just sets this car off.Options:Automatic Transmission5.0L V8Power WindowsAir ConditioingLeather/MB TexAfter Market Cassette Player The interior is in good condition but could use a little TLC. The drivers seat does have some rips and tears in it and the passenger seat shows signs of wear but no tears or anything. The back seats are in good condition and show minimal wear. The carpets are in good shape, don't have much wear and just have a couple smaller stains that will come out. The car has all the options, Power Windows, Factory A/C, MB Tex, and an Aftermarket Cassette Player. These options have not all been tested and some may not work and need a switch or fuse i dont know I am just selling it as is as a Project type car if i start tinkering and fixing it will be Restored in 3 months and i will want to keep it and drive it So im just letting go. This is a great project car for someone that is looking for a nice car to start with and that once they are done have a nice rare car. This is just a nice car that someone just needs to give a little TLC. Once running this is going to make someone an excellent car. It does not run. I was told it needs a new flywheel. so of course there were things like A/C i couldent test I tested stuff i could & The horn has a short in it. The paint is faded on the back of the car. Center rubber piece on front bumper is missing. This is a classic car that may be in need of some repair. Everything is pictured and in the video.
