Since the late 60's the car has been in Arizona and has NEVER seen a salted road.The body is in remarkable condition without any rust on the frame, floor or door panels.There is no sign of bubbling anywhere on the paint.It has pop up front windows, sliding windows on the driver's and passenger side front doors and pop up camper top with new canvas.Included are the original curtain rods, 3 original tables and box of unopened window seals from Wolfsburg West.The engine is very strong, it was replaced 3 - 4 years ago by the previous owner.The mileage on the odometer reads 48,868 but the previous owner told me it was probably 148,868 miles so the advertised number is a best estimate.Based on the condition of the undercarriage and body I have no reason to doubt this figure.The front seats, headliner, most trim and radio are original as well as all the exterior bumpers chrome trim and signal and brake lenses. The wheels are original and tires are in excellent condition.The ride on the highway is just amazing for a car that is almost 50 years old. Add some new readily available seat covers and few hours on a sunny weekend under a shade tree and you will have yourself an amazing car that draws a crowd wherever you go!
