1997 GMC K2500HD (8,600GVWR) VIN: 1GTGK29R7VE504707 238K miles 5.7L gas with rare zero effort steering. 4L80E with push-button 4x4 transfer case. 4:11 gears. Frame is completely solid. Oil and filter changes every 3000 miles since ordered new by known previous owner (construction fleet) and current (2nd) owner. Extended cab, longbed with diamond plate toolbox, bedrail guards, tailgate flat, and full running boards. Good Bridgestone REVO2 tires and Rancho 9000XL adjustable shocks. New battery, A/C compressor (not charged), tensioner, and belt. It's a very reliable truck that never ever gets stuck in the deepest snow or mud and rides like a Cadillac with the Rancho shocks. The fuel pump is weak but it always starts and will drive anywhere. It starts, goes, turns, and stops. This truck isn't perfect in any sense, but I would be confident to drive it from Milwaukee to Alaska to Miami... in winter or summer.
