1956 Oldsmobile Super 88, four door sedan with Hydra-Matic transmission and power steering. New brakes, master cylinder, Monroe shock absorbers, battery, spark plugs, tuneup, muffler, electric wiper motor, glove box, trunk liner, white wall tires, fuel sending unit, AM/FM/CD player. Original AM radio works, clock does not. Rebuilt generator, driver quality re-paint four years ago in original color. Original seat covers in fair condition with just one small defect, a tiny burn hole in the driver’s seat. No tears in seat covers, door panels or head liner. Several small rust bubbles in lip of hood. All stainless trim in very nice condition; bumpers are re-chromed. The trunk emblem, backup light bezels and the outside mirrors are in fair condition, all glass is excellent; the taillight lenses not perfect, but very presentable. Original Shop Manual. Over $2500 in receipts.Outside mirrors could be from 1957 model. The fuel sending unit and the windshield wipers are not fully operational. This old cruiser does not have power brakes or ac. It runs and drives great.I bought two cars before Christmas, this Olds from North Carolina and a 1940 Buick from Washington. I am more than pleased with the condition of each. Actually they were nicer than I expected. One has to go. If the Buick goes first, this fine ride gets dual exhaust, Smitty mufflers and flipper hubcaps.The car is located in Conroe, Texas with a clear Texas title and recent inspection sticker. 936-232-4759
