Vehicle Detail

This is a good car, not rotted out like your typical Trans Am. The hoods good, front fenders clean, doors clean, rockers are good. The floors and trunk are good as well, except a small spot in the trunk. The only real rust is in the lower quarters, they have putty in them and the corners of the dash there's a little rust, typical on these cars they make a patch panel for it now and its inexpensive. Also the piece of sheet metal that hangs down, it's about 36 inches by 10 right behind the rear bumper, its rusty looks like you could just cut out a rectangular piece and replace it with a piece of sheet metal, Nothing structural, even the frame rails are real clean. Its a 400, not the 403 olds! It's a 4 speed, shifts fine no grinds and the clutch is good. It's also a posi rear end. It runs very well pulls strong, it has a mild cam and some head work, nothing crazy. It starts everytime and drives good. Its been lowered with Bell tech Leaf springs and Coil springs, along with all polyeurethane bushing and full adjustable front and rear sway bars. It's a 2 inch drop, rides not real smooth but it handles awesome. Good tires and nice pontiac wheels. You could put different springs on if you wanted to make the ride smoother. Everything electrical works, lights, guages, fuel guage acts funny sometimes. The interiors in really nice shape, carpets nice, headliners nice, back seat nice front seats all redone from the piano wire supports to the covers. guages are nice, factory tach works even. The dash is nice except a small crack in the pad. This is an original Bucaneer Red, Deluxe black interior 400 4 speed no options just fast! Manual locks and windows, had air thats it. There were only 489 400 4 speeds! Don't forget that famous Trans Am from 1977 to? Yes Smokey and the Bandit! The paint looks decent it obviously needs to be all redone but it depends on what you want? You can drive it as is just fine or restore as you drive. It's a great driver looks great at 10 feet, attracks tons of attention! Anyway if you have any questions or if your interested in buying it feel free to ask. Also Click on the pictures to inlarge them. There's also a video so you can hear it run. Thanks and Good Luck on this No Reserve Auction! On Mar-21-12 at 13:41:46 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had a few questions, the hood is a little different shade of white. Just newer paint, I sanded down the hood because the bird was dried and cracked and just re-sprayed it white. It looks pretty good, you can't really tell unless your looking for it. Thanks again, any questions feel free.On Mar-24-12 at 09:05:17 PDT, seller added the following information: MAKE SURE YOU CLICK ON THE VERY LAST PICTURE OF DRIVERS SIDE REAR QUARTER AREA: ITS A VIDEO SO YOU CAN HEAR THE CAR RUN. Also I'm adding these pics of the trunk. Any questions feel freel to ask.
