***2004 BMW K1200LT-C EXODUS ABS LOADED BLUE BOOK $9100 PLUS OVER $9000 IN EXTRAS*** NO RESERVE This is NOT the Standard or Custom, but rather the Exodus. Please check out the following links as they will provide you with all the information (pictures and videos) you could need: http://www.flickr.com/photos/27353311@N02/ http://youtu.be/eqmHZCW68CY http://youtu.be/VakX1u_iVig http://youtu.be/LVgi4DNwtQ0 http://youtu.be/App8_Kl7Cg4 If for any reason this link does not work, please search "BMW K1200LT-C Exodus Short Non-BMW Extras" on Youtube.com http://youtu.be/iElcEc0Ja9g First let me say that this bike has been my baby since my second year of medical school and now with two more years of residency and knowing she isn’t going to get ridden I have reluctantly decided to let someone else enjoy her rather than watch her sit. She is and has always been as they say, a GARAGE QUEEN. Blue Book on the base model is $9,100 and this bike is the loaded version. Starting price is $8,500 with no reserve. Additionally several desirable modifications have been made and over $9,000 in extras have been added including lots of electronics, Remus Titanium Exhaust, etc. (adds around 5-10% horsepower and torque). Most importantly the bike is in beautiful condition both mechanically and aesthetically. All the abuse that the front end of a bike takes has been absorbed by the protective film and the pain under it is still showroom beautiful. Bike also has a brand new clutch after a transmission change at 30k due to a rare bearing failure. The new clutch is worth $1500 in itself. I have already changed all the fluids this year (oil, transmission, brakes, coolant, rear end) and the bike has a new battery and tires from late last year. I have service records dating back to 2004. A list of the extras and links to more information about the given part is provided. Software included) http://www.mightygps.com/streetpilot.htm High and Low beam HID Headlight Upgrade $150 Highway Ottomans $120? Dice iPod and iPhone (adapter included) interface (Plays iPhone and iPod through bike radio and intercom system. $150 Additionally, ALL ACCESSORIES INCLUDING HEADLIGHTS are on external (NON-BMW) CIRCUITS WHICH SHUT DOWN WHEN THE STARTER BUTTON IS PRESSED. There is also a switch under the seat that kills the bike's entire non-BMW electrical system down to save your battery while parked without a charger. Non-refundable $1000 deposit required within 24 hours via Paypal remainder in cash or cleared check before pickup and transaction must be completed in 7 days unless otherwise agreed upon prior to bidding etc. I'm easy to deal with but I'm also too busy to deal with those not truly serious. Any questions, please just ask. If needed I will provide bidders my email and/or cell phone number. I also plan on posting or emailing more pictures as well as a video so please check back and look. Buy my plane ticket I would be happy to ride her to you ;) I also want to mention that on one of my visits to the dealer, I didn't make it out with my radio antenna rod. I never missed it because nearby radio stations come in without it, it tends to be a pain when pulling into the garage and I don't like listening to commercials etc. and I primarily used all the other options, Satellite Radio, Pandora, Ipod, Iphone, CD etc. The mount and everything is there, just not the rod. Please take this into consideration when bidding if you are a big listener of local radio while riding. Due to requests made by some of you who have messaged me regarding concerns over the bike's alarm system being disabled when the other features are switched off (to save the battery), I have modified this feature to only shut down all the accessories which are on the added non-BMW circuit. Now, the all bike circuits including the alarm remain intact when the external circuit is switched off. I will illustrate this as well in one of my videos. However, as a result of this I highly recommend that you keep this bike on a trickle charger whenever possible while parked. I have posted some more pictures and one video on Flickr ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/27353311@N02/ ) If for some reason you have problems with the link, message me and I will send you it via email if you provide your email. Just click on the link and take a look. I will be posting my longer videos to Youtube tomorrow as Flickr only shows 90 seconds at a time. Check back tomorrow and I will have a link to the longer videos. Plenty of the bike available. Regarding the iPhone, iPod (and iPad if you wish) interface, There are TWO ways you can integrate. The first is using the charging port of the Apple product which will simultaneously charge and play ANY audio output from the device through the stereo speakers or through your headset. I simple flip of a switch changes whether your stereo is played in your helmet or through the speakers. Additionally, ANY call, text, or app alert temporarily pauses this output and the call, text or app alert is played in it's place. Secondly, using the headset output on the top of the iPhone you can place, send and recieve calls using the intercom system and your headset. You may use these features simultaneously as one goes throught the intercom system and the other through the stereo. In summary, you could be listening to Pandora, iTunes, ESPN radio or even WATCH AND LISTEN to CNBC LIVE, NETFLIX ETC. (the possibilities are endless) through the speakers OR headset and never miss a call, text or alert etc. You can also plug in a CB or FRS radio into the intercom system (right into the dash where the cd player is) as well. Any more questions, please ask. I've also included the counter at the bottom by popular demand. I also might mention that I have received numerous requests to end the auction early which is why I put a BUY IT NOW option at the price that a few had offered. I am not selling the bike because I need the money and am in no hurry either. This bike would be worth a lot more to me if I had time to enjoy it. However, being a doctor doesn't currently allow me that opportunity. I've spent a lot of time putting together the information required for an informed buy but I don't have time to take multiple offers etc. I don't however mind answering questions about the bike. In 2004 BMW made 3 models of the LT. The "Standard" is what has a book value of $9100. They also made the "Custom" which had a few options but not many and did not have the chrome standard. The third model was the Exodus which was more similar to an '05 than an '04 and had Chrome and all the options you see on my bike. Don't feel bad about not knowing the above as it is rare to find one. http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/2004/bmw/k/1200_lt_standard/540/05/index.html http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/2004/bmw/k/1200_ltcustom/541/05/index.html http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/2004/bmw/k/1200_lt_exodus/542/05/index.html I have gotten a few messages overnight and today regarding not being able to place bids last night and possibly today. This is due to the "buyer requirement" parameters I had stipulated. I have changed those today. If any of you are still having this problem please let me know before the last hour of the auction ;)
