Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE 2000 Volvo C70 Convertible. Very nice safe convertible. It is about to be convertible season!! Don’t miss this great car! This car looks and drives great for its age. I will do my best to describe every aspect of this car completely. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. I tend to over disclose thing instead of the other way around that other sellers try to get away with. I am including over 60 high resolution photos that show every inch of this car. I have tried to capture most of the cosmetic flaws but please be realistic. This is a 12 year old car with almost 100k miles so there are flaws on this car. Exterior: The exterior of the car looks great. The paint is shiny and I believe it to be original on all panels. There are really only a few dings that are worth mentioning. They are shown in the pictures. There is a spot on the drivers side door from what looks like bird droppings that has damaged the paint. This is again shown in the pictures. The only thing that really looks bad on the car is the rear bumper. The bumper is in good shape with no dents or tears. The bumper really needs to be repainted. There are multiple spots where someone has poorly touched up the paint. This is really the only part on the outside that looks bad. It looks fine from 5 feet away but if you really look at the bumper you can see it. I can get it re-painted at a wholesale price for the buyer if they would like me to. The wheels are in pretty good shape. There is some curb rash on a few of them. See the pictures for details. Convertible top: The top is in pretty good cosmetic condition. I would rate it a strong 8 out of 10. The back window is completely intact and does not leak. There are no rips or tears anywhere. There are a few spots that can be seen in the pictures where the canvas is worn from being down. These are very small areas and do not look bad. There are a few small wrinkles that again can be seen in the pictures. The top works like it should. Interior: The interior has held up pretty good for its age. The leather is still soft and the seats are still very comfortable. Everything works on the inside like it should. All windows work. Even the cup holder is still intact. There are no warning lights on the dash. The back-lighting works on everything. The stereo works and sounds amazingly good for a convertible car. The leather on the drivers side seat has a small rip on the bolster like all of these cars. The rest of the seats just have the usual small cracking on top of the leather that is fairly minor. The center console armrest has some small cracking in the leather like all Volvos of this era. Look closely at all of the pictures to get a good idea of the condition of the interior. I have taken several photos of everything. Mechanical: The car has been through our shop and has passed our thorough inspection. Any maintenance that was needed has been completed. The car has good brakes front and rear. The tires are new on the back and the fronts have about 80% left. The engine runs great. It is quiet and make tons of power. There is no noticeable turbo lag. The engine pulls smoothly all the way through the RPM range. The transmission shifts perfectly through all gears. The car drives great overall. There is no vibration from the tires and the alignment is straight. The car feels very solid overall for a convertible. There is the slight “Convertible shimmy” when going over bumps that can be felt. This is normal for these cars and this one is less noticeable than most C70’s. An extended warranty is available for an additional charge. Overall: I would rate the car a 7 out of 10 overall. It is in very good condition for a car with almost 100k miles on it. It needs nothing right now but a new owner!!! The Fine Print: $1000 Deposit due within 24 hours. Full payment is due within 72 hours. We are a licensed dealer in the State of Georgia. I want you to be happy for years to come and then buy another car from me. Here is just one testimonial from a happy buyer from Canada: “Just wanted to say thanks for all your help and the car is now safely in Brian's hands. It was really nice dealing with you. Brian also wanted me to let you know that anytime you have a car for sale to give him a call. He was very impressed with your description of the car as it was " 100% most accurately described" . He said he has purchased 11 cars through ebay and this one by far was the most accurate and he could tell that the car has had excellent care.” I can provide many more testimonials as well as phone numbers from happy buyers.
