Up for auction is a 2000 Saab 9-3 Turbo Hatchback. This car does NOT run, it is in need of major engine work. Does it need an engine? I don't know. I am not a Saab expert. When I try to start the car it will sputter and run for 2-5 seconds, and then die. When it ran, it ran very well, transmission shifted well. It was a fun car to drive. I do not have the time nor expertise to repair the vehicle, that is why I am selling it. The body is in good shape for the year. There is a scratch that is beginning to rust on the passenger side quarter panel (see photo). The reverse of the passenger side mirror is missing (see photo). There is also a crack in the front bumper (see photo). All windows function, including the sunroof, all lights function. This would be a great car, and last many more years, once the engine is replaced/repaired. The car had begun smoking (black smoke) previous to the engine quitting. The driver's seat is quite worn (see photo), but the rest of the interior is in decent shape. Part of the driver's side headlight wiper is missing (see photo). There is no radio for the car, it didn't come with one when I purchased it. I put the VIN in the listing, if you are looking for a replacement engine, you'll need one with a matching "H" VIN (the "H" being the eighth digit on the VIN). I require a deposit via Paypal of $200.00 within 48 hours of auction end. I require either cash payment or wireless transfer of the remaining amount within 7 days of auction end.
