Auctioning my 1970 Ford Ranchero 500. This is a true Ranchero 500, a fairly rare car with only approximately 4300 Squires made in 1970. Decoding the VIN, it shows this is a 500 came with a 351 Cleveland V-8, 2 barrel carb. The engine turns over but we have not started it due to it sitting for a year prior to me buying the old girl. It is equipped with a three speed automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes that will need to be gone through by the new owner. INTERIOR The interior is in over all good condition with decent carpet and a reupholstered seat, original scuff plates and cargo and spare tire cover. The dash will need to be rehabbed due to cracks. The wipers work & all the glass is good. EXTERIOR The exterior has an older Burgandy / White paint scheme and will need to be redone. The bed has been sprayed with a bed liner material. The bed is solid and rust free with only one vertical hole that you have to look hard to find. No dents and dings from use. The tail gate working properly. The chrome on the bumpers look ok for a driver but new ones are need for that SHOW ROOM look. The stainless trim is in great condition for a 40 year old car.. This Ford has the factory Hidden Headlights as well.It will need body work on the rear wheel wells and one spot on the bed. Extra's: 16 inch welds / New fuel pump / edelbrock carb -750 / Edelbrock intake 351C Performer / Hi Perf ignition system - Malory W wires/ B&M Pro Floor shifter. I have a set of Factory wheels / Fenders and other assorted Ford Torino / Ranchero Parts. This Ranchero 500 is sold in AS IS Condition. This would make a great project & all the parts are there or use it to restore your Torino / Fairlane/ Cyclone/ Montego. There is ove 5K in parts on this truck.
