Up for auction is a 1999 Honda Civic LX. I purchased this car about a year and a half ago because my leased vehicle had too many miles. I don't have much information about the prior history. Since then I have been driving this car as a daily commuter. Let me say that I know why these cars are in demand. They are great vehicles. This car has 178,163 miles on it as of today and drives as if it were new. The transmission shifts good and it continues to get great gas mileage. I bought another car on Ebay so this one has to leave the corral. Since I've had this car it has been driven by a non smoker and adult only. The only rust that I've noticed is on the bottom corner of the passenger door ( seed pic). It does have a small crack in the hood paint because I tried to shut the hood while the bar was still up (stupid). I've replaced the exhaust system about 4 months ago, blower fan, all transmission solenoids, transmission fluid, alternator, o2 oxygen sensors (both), rotated the tires about 2 months ago; however, there is a road noise since doing so. Both front and back brakes have been replaced within the past 5 months. There was an electrical short that caused me to purchase an ecu unit. The electrical problem was taken care of and ecu installed by the Honda Dealer. This car is ready to go. Spring is coming and the air conditioner is ice cold. It would be great for a student car or daily commuter. I've driven this car multiple times back and forth to Cincinnati 120 miles, Columbus 160 miles, Zanesville 200 miles many times and never had any problems.
