great running old truck, mechanically it is in great condition. eninge runs well and is stock. the trans is tight and shifts good considering it is a non-locking transmission. all brakes, wheel bearings and seals, steering gear box, water pump, starter, and master cylinder are all new within the year. now for the bad part, as you can see the body is junk. the bed was rusted bad enough i could not keep anything in it and decided to put a 2nd gen bed on it. the cab corners, rocker panels, floor pan, fenders, are all rusted out on the cab. also the drivers side front cab mount is rusted through on the cab. ugly but does not affect the safty, i still dirve it every day to work and back. very reliable. the frame is in good shape with only surface rust on it. the only thing the truck needs mechanically is u-joints in the front drive shaft CV joint, and the front leaf springs are getting pretty weak, this causes a bad suspension hop when the brakes are applied on a rough road. re-acrched springs with an ad a leaf should take care of this($175 quoted from local spring shop). also the tires will need replaced before next winter. the truck only shows 182000 miles, but the odometer stoped working about 10000 miles ago. the light bar in the pics is not for sale with the truck. i also have a 9ft Sno-way V-plow that fits on the truck i will include for another 1300. if you do not want the plow, the mount and controls will be removed from the truck. thanks.
