1979 Honda CB

I am listing this bike for a life long friend with whom I have been rideing motercycles with for over 40 years. If I did not beleive everthing to be true I would not list it. With that being said here is his his discription. Bike has normal wear fo a 33 year old bike. Bike will be described honestly,both good and bad. The tank is not dented and is very clean inside. There are chips out of paint on right side of the tank and small marks in other places. The mufflers do have holes in bottom of them. ( I can give you a source where you can find them used and was quoted about $150.00) The bike will need tires. The seat is as near to perfect as you will find. ( no tears or cuts etc) Rear turn signals or off of a Harley D. All turn signals work but left front turn signal stem is cracked. There is a small dent in the front fender,very small but it is there. Rear fender is very good ,not dented. It has all original paint,decals stripes ( etc ) on tank and side covers. Side covers have no cracks. I am replaceing the chain guard with one that is not rusty today. It is same as what came on bike. I had to clean the carbs to get bike to run but still have a leak problem with the carbs. Bike starts and runs,shifts through all the gears (I did this while sitting on center stand) Throttles up,idles and engine sounds great. I changed the oil and put in new spark plugs. I have several bikes but I am into earlier sohc models.In fact I ran across this bike while looking for parts for early 70s sohc 750k. I need the room for my other bikes so this one is going to be sold. I have a low reserve on this bike. Bike is sold as is. What you see is what you get.
