Vehicle Detail
This is a very special bike. Almost 50 years old and it looks and runs like it's only a few years old. There is no rust on the bike and the chrome shines like new. It has the original red paint. It is not perfect....there are areas of the bike that have small scratches, dings and or missing paint, (check the photos for details) it's just amazing because it is all original, unrestored and looks new. When we got it we serviced it, cleaned and synced the carbs, changed the oil and plugs and cleaned and shined anything that could be cleaned and shined. The photos do the talking for this pampered bike. It shows only 257 miles on the odometer but I can't guarantee they are accurate. I would say it probably has 1 or 2 thousand miles by its condition. I can only say it looks incredible and runs like a new bike. You can see more photos and a video of the bike starting and running at my photobucket web site. http://s560.photobucket.com/albums/ss49/jwalte01/CA95/?action=view¤t=IMG_0523.jpg The white wall tires appear to be original and hold air but they do show their age. The bike comes with two new Kenda tires. The exhaust looks to be almost new with no holes, rust or flaws. They are not perfect and the underside of the header pipes have some pitting. There are no dents or dings on the tank and the inside looks like new with no rust or flaws. This bike belongs in a museum!! I have the Texas title for the bike in my name. Please be sure that you have the money to purchase the bike if you are bidding. All the inspections must be done before the auction closes. Keep in mind that this classic bike is almost 50 years old so there are bound to be certain small scratches or slight imperfections on the bike. It has never been dropped and has no damage, rust, dents and only a couple of dings that occured during it's years in storage. So you are more than welcome to come see it in person, and if you are not sure, please don’t bid. As I am expressing how I see the vehicle. Your bid is your contract. Please place bids only if you are serious about buying the item. If you have the winning bid, you are entering into a legal binding contract to purchase the item. We require a $500 non-refundable deposit immediately after the bidding closes, and the remaining balance within a week. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. All of this being said please take a look at the pictures and ask any questions you may have. Or come by and check it out in person before you bid. The bike will be sold as is, with no warranty or guarantee. We reserve the right to cancel any bid for excessive negative feedback. I may also advertise it locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
