Up for auction is a 1940 Dodge Truck for a Rat Rod Project or Parts – No Title. This truck is being sold for parts or as a Rat Rod Project. There is no title. There is no Vehicle Identification Plate. This truck was a donor truck for the restoration of another truck. All that is left are the parts. And there are a lot of them. For the pictures it has been set back together and tied together with ratchet straps. The rear axle is sitting on 4 X 4’s. What is left of the bed is sitting on 4 X 4’s. The tailgate is just tied in place. To transport this truck it will need to be disassembled and put inside of a something or a lot more ratchet straps, wire, string and/or tape to hold it all in place. The cab, front end and the front axle are still attached to the frame. The engine and transmission are still bolted in place. Inside the cab where the seat is supposed to be there is many small parts. The wheels that are on it are off of an old Ford Explorer. There is also four of the original style wheels that go with the truck. They are not all the same size. This truck does have a lot of rust but for a Rat Rod I think there is a lot of great potential.
