Car has a clear title and is titled as a 1923 Ford convertible, so even though it is a fiberglass body titling and registering it in any state should be no problem. Chassis is a 1-1/2” X 3” rectangle tube chassis. Front end is dual ½ leaf springs with standard style shocks on an I-beam style drilled drop axle. Wheels I think are from a ’34 Ford with Firestone tires. Car has hydraulic brakes on all 4 corners and they work properly. Engine is a 80’s vintage Chevy truck 350 (most likely a 4-bolt main) and is topped by an Edelbrock dual plane intake and Holley carburetor. Rearend is from a 1946 Ford truck and uses a standard style driveshaft and u-joints (not a torque tube). Rearend is suspended by a leaf spring also. Car has working headlights / taillights / brake lights. PLEAE NOTE: THIS VEHICLE IS TITLED AS A 1923 FORD CONVERTIBLE...IT HAS A CLEAR TITLE AND THE VIN # IS STAMPED ON THE FRAME RAILS. THE BODY IS OBVIOUSLY NOT ORIGINAL AND I DOUBT THE FRAME IS EITHER......IF THIS IS A PROBLEM FOR YOU, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THE CAR. Car runs and drives and stops like it should and is a blast to drive. Because I don’t have much history on the car I would say give her a good safety checkout and you should be ready to cruise!!!! Car has a cool old school type look….Just a basic Hot Rod…..nothing billet or fancy. I personally think it needs the controls moved from the floor to the dash with at least the basic 3 gauges added. You could do this pretty cheap and easy. I would also prefer a different shifter as this one kind of looks out of place in the car.
