Up for auction is a vintage 1979 Suzuki GS 850 G parts bike. NO TITLE AVAILABLE, LOST BY PREVIOUS OWNER. WILL SELL AS PARTS DONOR ONLY. WILL PROVIDE BILL OF SALE.This is a great barn find. It is complete and the exterior is in very good condition for its age. The bike was last started in 1994. The tank has rust and old gas in it. The battery is obvious dead. The motor is not locked up. This model is shaft drive. The tank has a few scratches in the paint and some peeling of the pinstriping but no major dents. The side covers are there and no tabs are broken but the paint and pinstripes are similiar to the tank.The speedometer glass cover is broken. The tires are bridgestone and have plenty of meat left with no evidence of dry rot. There are no visible oil leaks. There is no evidence the bike was ever laid down. Clean the tank and rebuild the carbs add a fresh battery and she will most likely fire up. The seat has no tears or rips. Luggage rack is missing the backrest pad. The history I have is Im the third owner. The original owner who bought it new died, and his neighbor bought it from the estate and left it in the garage since 94. There is no warranty and no guarantee of the mechanical condition. I have disclosed all I know about the bike and at a minimum it would make a terrific parts donor. Sold as is and where is.
