For Sale: My 1999 Mercury Cougar with the 2.5 V6 and a 5-Speed tranny. I am sorry to see this one go. I started to make this car a project car however military overseas orders decided i would have to part with her. Car is in good condition and runs smooth as of two months ago. However i was recently told that the battery was too weak to start and needed jumped. Car has a small dent above rear fender which could easily be buffed out, and a very small amount of rust in front the driver-side rear tire. Car has dual gauge pod on driver side pillar which has Glow Shift Vaccum and Volt Meter Gauges, The car is also equiped with a 500Watt Sound Ordance Sound System which includes a Kenwood CD player with Ipod Interface(Ipod plugs into a cable in the glove box and is controlled from the faceplate). Car also has a RalcoRZ short shifter, Tinted Tail Lights, LED driving light. The sun roof was broken when i bought it however Advance Auto showed me the part i need (which is $15), however i lack knowledge of sun roof maintence so i didnt attempted to fix it. The front tires are starting to get worn, however they are not worn enough to replace yet. Other than that the car is in wonderful condition. Clutch was inspected last year and the Mech said it wasnt even half worn yet.
