very desireable 930 turbo sunroof coupe, 53,000 miles needs tlc, not a show car this is a driver, i will list it one time only and then, if it doesnt sell ill put it back in storage and freshen it up at a later date, because it really is fun to drive, and i only see the 78-79 turbos going up in value, serial # 9309801172, this is a late serial number for a 79, i beleive they only made 1200 cars in 1979. then they were not sold in the US because of emmisions, 3.3 intercooled turbo engine with the 4 speed trans, car has limited slip, sport seats, A/C, sunroof, aftermarket CD raio with original speakers, power windows, very nice factory 16 inches wheels with nice nexem tires, wheels have no roadrash or curb damage, owned the car for a few years and was not running when i bought it. had a rebuilt turbocharger on it when i purchased it, CDI box was bad, i had a MSD ignition system put in, had the valves adjusted and a tune up was done, brakes were also done at that time, car was repainted at some point, still looks good but there were a some paint chips that were touched up. has original white headliner and visors but they are showing their age, leather on drivers sprort seat is worn, leather is dried out, the car has a pad on the top of the dash so im sure it has some crackes in the pad under it, leather is rough on the steering wheel and should be redone, carpets are decent and also comes with the turbo mats,could use shifter coupler bushings which ive read are common for these cars, sunroof and power windows work fine, front winsheild is starting to fog on the bottom,, rear wiper and defroster work fine, i had the rear speaker deck replaced because the leather was dried and cracked, A/C compressor was taken off at some point but i have it.and it will go with the car, that was common for these cars when work was done on these engines,also comes with original owners manual and dealer brochure,i may still have the original radio if i do you can have it, i cant promise i can find it, i have the original CDI box but it will need rebuilding or replacement,i ordered a new front trunk carpet and should recive it anytime, it will be included in the sale, car has the spare tire,jack and tool kit, has a clock but only works when it feels like it, some oil hoses are getting britle and will need replacing shortly. apears it will need valve cover gaskets in the future they seem to be seeping, ive had a couple of oil hoses done a while ago. ive had the car for a few years, purchaced the car with 41,000 mile i have a current NH registration and also a signed MASS title, NH doesnt require a title on a car this old so i never had to get a new one, i will provide whatever you need for paperwork to register, will sell internationally but all funds must clear before the car goes. you are more than welcome to come check it out in Manchester,NH before the auction ends, you are bidding to buy not to come check it out after. i must be contacted buy winning bidder within 24 hours of auctions ending, have your funds ready to go must be paid in full within 7 days, no paypal. bank check,cash or wire transfer to my bank, this is not a $30-$40k car but is a driver but im not giving it away, if you are handy and enjoy tinkering this is an affordable car. i just have too many cars and dont use any of them that often so maybe its time to thin down a few, lets see how this goes and maybe ill sell off a couple more at a later date, please no games and no non paying bidders. a 78 turbo was sold on ebay a couple of weeks ago with no engine no wheels and tires and also hit in the rear and that did $13,200 so bid accordingly. questions by email forsaleauto@aol.com or call Mike 603-566-3429
