The vehicle is also being offered for sale locally and is subject to removal from the auction at anytime should it be sold. Thank you. This is a 1970 VW Westfalia. There are receipts that total over $4,000 in the past 7 years. The bus run extremely well and starts up at the turn of the key. The engine accelerates positively and sounds great! The clutch feels great and shifting through all the gears is effortless. The brakes have had a lot of work done and they stop the bus precisely. Mechanically everything is above average and works properly. The bus comes with it's original radio however it does not work and is missing the knobs. The drivers window does not roll down and needs a regulator. Cosmetically the bus needs some attention. The bus spent a lot of time near the beach so there is rust. The undercarriage is very dry and so is 75% of the bus. The rust is mostly on the front doors (sliding door is good), the front panel under the windshields and by the front floors and on the rear gutter. She is still totally usable and safe as-is but has the obvious and described condition. The interior excels in many ways and has all of the camping gear present. The rear seat upholstery and accessories are in very good shape. The tent is torn and would need to be replaced. The original cot is still present and everything else on the inside is nice. The faucet for the sink is the only obvious item that is missing. The front seats are original and need reupholstering. The dash and panels look good.All four tires are relatively new. Overall this bus stil has a really nice look and still functions well. It is very enjoyable to drive and easy to maintain.
