71,000 mile survivor! 1984 AMC Eagle with Selec Trac 4 wheel drive This is a low mile, just 71,878 miles, 3 owner survivor. It is equipped with a 258 cu. in. 6 cylinder engine, Selec Trac 4 wheel drive system, Automatic Transmission, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Factory AC, AM/FM Stereo Radio, Tinted Glass, Electric Rear Window Defroster, Dual Remote Mirrors, Light Group and Convenience Group. Everything on the car, incuding the air conditioning, works as intended. This car has been my daily driver for the last two years. It starts immediately every morning, regardless of the weather. The 4 wheel drive system is fantastic in the snow! Recent Upgrades: Brakes - all new. Rotors turned with new pads, rear drums replaced and new shoes installed a/c recharged Brand new tires - less than 500 miles Freshly rebuilt transfer case New strut rod bushings Carb rebuilt Known Problems Headliner partly sags - This is a very common problem with these cars and a relatively easy fix There is a tear in the outer back bolster of the drivers seat - see photo Electric carb choke disconnected - another common problem with the later AMC carbs Carpet is torn in drivers area and faded in back seat I purchased this car several years ago and drove it to Kansas City from the East Coast. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere in the country. However, it is a 25 plus year old car and anything can happen.I have made every effort to accurately describe the vehicle and it's condition.
