If you don't know how to purchase a car, perhaps you should refrain from bidding on vehicles. 1989 Cadillac Brougham (Fleetwood) Up for sale is my 1989 Cadillac Brougham in TRIPLE DARK CLARET. This is an original, original car which has never seen rain or snow. It has 65,000 original miles. It is a true garage queen and has never been out in the rain or snow, and always garaged, and stored every winter. It honestly looks like a car with 3000 miles on it. This fine automobile has always been immaculately maintained at the Cadillac dealer, and has always been garaged. This car stickered for $29k in 1989. That’s a lot of money, even in 2012 dollars. Sporting it’s stunning original dark claret paint, it has the leather interior in dark claret all the power options – locks, windows, seats, antenna, cruise control, rear opera spot lights, exterior fiber optic opera lamps, AM/FM/Cassette with Symphony Sound, electronic level control, power antenna, and of course, the original factory wire hubcaps. It has an extra set of NOS floor mats and has the original Cadillac logo trunk mat and both sets of keys. Tires were replaced and are in excellent condition. Vinyl top is original and flawless. Chrome is perfect. Never smoked in, always pampered. I looked at hundreds of these cars since the 80's and this is the best one I found, regardless of miles. It also has the original compact spare which has never been used. It has an amazing butter soft original leather interior and the car is finished off with the original factory painted white pinstripe. It has the rock-solid reliable Olds 307 5.0 liter carbureted engine - much improved over the poor HT4100's that Cadillac used from 1982-1985. This car needs absolutely nothing but a new fanatical owner or Cadillac collector. I recently had it serviced and the car has been tuned up, carb cleaned, and it has new rear air shocks even though the electronic level control still works. Unlike most of these 70's and 80's Caddys, EVERYTHING WORKS. AC blows ice cold and has been converted to R134. If you are into these cars, you know how hard they are to find, especially in this most desirable color combination. (Usually they are yellow, beige, salmon, powder blue, peach or some other disco color). It comes with all of the manuals, keys, factory paperwork/manuals. It was recently state inspected and passed with flying colors. This car was featured in an issue of AutoRestorer Magazine as an example of one of the finest unrestored cars out there. I purchased it from a dealer who is noted Cadillac LaSalle Club Collector who had it in his personal collection. He purchased it from the original owner and I still have the original title. (Rhode Island doesn't issue titles for old cars) Thank you for all of the interest in this vehicle.
