1975 Honda CB

Here's an all original CB750K I just finished servicing with a compression check, valve adjustment, rebuilt and synchronized the carburetors, flushed the entire fuel system, changed the oil/filter with motorcycle 10w40 oil. Installed 4 new NGK spark plugs, air filter looked brand new Honda unit. Installed a brand new battery. Checked the charging system and all electrical systems and lamps, turn sinals, brake lights, horn. Original keys and toolkit included. All work great including turn signal buzzer. Rebuilt the front brake system including rebuilding the master cylinder and brake caliper, flushed the lined, refilled and bled system. Pads were at 50% or more with good wear pattern. Rotor showed no wear. Engine starts easy and runs very smooth, good power with no smoke or unusual noise. Only oil seepage found at tachdrive outlet in valve cover(cheap and available). Clutch and transmision work perfect. Rear brakes were checked and had good wear pattern and plenty of pad left. Chain/sprocket looked good, both tires have good tread left but are cracking from age. I did not replace them as some folks are brand specific, others want originals for the oem look. All body panels look original to this bike and paint matches. Tank is rustfree inside, paint is shiny, no scratches, has 1 small ding on lower left side by the seat but is not scratched (see pic). Lower left side of tank has slight speckled spots that appear to be surface rust coming thru from under the paint, but inside of tank looks new everywhere. I'm a 52 year old motorcycle mechanic and have seen some 70's Hondas like this, probably poor primer. Paint shops have seen it and agree. Side covers are shiny with a couple cracks on 1 and 1 crack on the other. They are still solid. I have 2 crackless used side covers that the high bidder can have if they want for extras. Seat is perfect and original, not a recover, no rips or tears or flaws at all, chrome ribbon trim along bottom edge is a little flaky. Bottom of seat pan is solid with shiny paint, cocument door intact. Original mirrors are rustfree with nice chrome and glass. Controls show little or no fading. Instrument glass is clear, tach works intermittantly. Chrome on wheels are nice with minimal corrosion, front spokes are rustfree, rear spokes have surface rust but have sanded clear, but it's tedius work. Fender have little corrosion. All decals still intact. Exhaust pipes are very solid with NO holes, No dings, No dents, no soft spots, and no rust except on the backside of #2 downpipe at the engine(see pic). Couple scratches on the very underneath side of one (can't see it unless your heads on the ground) Bike still has all it's original yellow factory paint seal marks except on carb synch bolts that I used. Good baffles in mufflers and sounds great. Very smooth runner and a joy to ride. Be ready for the onlookers, gawkers, questions and stories though. Ask all questions prior to bidding please. The ones between the carbs and engine. $95 just for those 4 parts. New Honda OEM sidestand rubber bumper.
