RARE 1978 4X4 Van Charger VERY LOW RESERVE!! I have priced this Van to Sell... 360, Automatic, 3/4 Ton, Dana 60 Rear, Dana 44 Front, With Lockers. OVERALL: I have 100% feedback and value it, so bid knowing that you will find this Van exactly as I describe it. It starts easily, runs very good, and drives straight down the road. It shifts well, and the 4WD works just as it should. It has 2 bucket seats in it from a car that were in it when I got it. I dont know what they are out of, but it sits comfortably and it is a BLAST to drive. I can't go ANYWHERE without getting compliments about this van. This Van goes like a TANK in the snow and mud. Seriously, if you get it stuck, you have accomplished something. I hate to sell it, but I am building a motorcycle from scratch, and need to fund it. Read up on these Vans and you will see that they were built to last and go anywhere. I have been watching 4WD Vans on Ebay for a few months. I have listed this one LOWER than any of the others...Don't miss out on this one! MECHANICAL: The odometer shows 58,460 but I am sure its really 158,460. I had it tuned up a few months ago and had the carb rebuilt. My mechanic told me that he could see by the gaskets and sealants that the engine had been rebuilt at some point. (As was described to me when I bought it last year) He also pointed out that this 360 is topped with a nice aluminum intake and a Holly 4 barrel. You could not hope for a stronger running engine. EXTERIOR: It is Primer Black from rattle cans. Not the greatest job in the world but it looks awesome. There are a few places that I can see some work has been done, and there are some rust bubbles trying to push thru in a few places. I took photos of the worst spots, but overall it is solid and it wouldn't take much to prep it for a real paint job. The wheels and Nerf bars are painted silver. The Nerf bars are HUGE!! The tires are 33 x 12.50 x 16.5 and have plenty of life left. One of the back doors has a bracket screwed to the inside, keeping it from opening. Previous owner told me the latch was bad, but I have never removed or inspected it. It has a small oil leak, nothing bad, and its been too cold here for me to track it down. INTERRIOR: Very simple. There is a piece of carpet lying on the floor and the walls are bare metal. I had big plans for the inside until this bike project has taken over my life. This Van has very little rust. There are a few small places around the engine box and the rear wheel wells inside. I have pulled the carpet up and included photos. It wouldnt take much to make this Van nice, and it priced LOW!
