For sale by owner - 1957 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special Complete & all original. Frame & engine VIN match. Car is running and can be driven as-is or this would be a perfect car for a full restore.The body is very straight, with only minimal body damage, no more than a few hours of body work to prep for paint, and these old cars are easy to work on yourself with a little knowledge. Car idles and shifts well. Automatic transmission, power brakes, power windows & front seat. This car is 55 years old, and all original, so please keep that in mind as to the condition it is in. It's not perfect, but it's a great, solid car and I drive it often. This car is currently registered until Sept 2012, NO back fees or past due registration! California plates are custom, and read "50S LIFE". Plates stay with car. Clear title in hand! Lots of recent work & new parts, including: new exhaust pipes & mufflers; new electric fuel pump; rebuilt carburetor, starting motor & generator; new voltage regulator; new thermostat; new fan belts; complete engine tune up, including; spark plugs, cap, rotor, points, condenser & plug wires; rear axle seals replaced; front & rear brake wheel cylinders rebuilt; new rear brake shoes; new rear differential oil; brakes bled & adjusted (including parking), brake fluid replaced; gas pedal replaced; new battery; positive battery cable replaced; new lower cooling system hose; newer white walled tires; new weather stripping on trunk, upper doors & pillar seals; transmission fluid, coolant & engine oil just changed. Comes with official 1957 Cadillac repair manual & waterproof car cover. Motor original to car with matching VIN to frame. All glass is in good condition, no cracks or chips. Car has all original emblems & decals, original hubcaps. Has spare tire, original jack, tire iron, & four-way lug wrench. Headliner & door panels in good original condition. Small seam split in headliner, Blower fan works, but heater & factory A/C do not. Speedometer & odometer not working. Needs new carpet. Original white paint. Hood has been replaced (has primer, needs paint). No exterior visible or undercarriage rust, California car all it's life. Floor pans are solid with some surface rust. Minor surface rust in door jams where paint has chipped, no damage or weakening to the metal. Everything is solid. Will be fine if prepped properly before painting. People LOVE this car!
