Up for sale is my 2002 Ford Lightning custom built by JDM Engineering in Freehold, NJ. There is over twenty thousand dollars in documented work invested into the drive train alone. It has a new Ford long block, Magnapowers Supercharger, JLP Intercooler, Brian’s Truck Shop Transmission, JDM custom fuel system, and a Roush Racing suspension with QA1 adjustable shocks in the rear and Bilsteins up front. The truck comes with a SCT tuner with two tunes, one for cold weather and one for warm weather. Both are very safe tunes. The warm weather tune makes a bit more power and the cold weather gets a bit more mpg. The warm weather tune makes right around 650hp at the rear wheels. With a bit more boost and a more aggressive tune, this truck could definitely see numbers closer to the 700 mark. Not too shabby for a vehicle that can be daily driven. I bought this truck in June of 2011 with every intention to drive it every day. I brought it home and toyed around with it a bit only to realize that it was too nice to be used for a daily driver and went out and bought a beater instead. This truck does not see rain, snow or extreme cold. It is garage kept in a climate controlled environment and only taken out on the nicest of days. I just put a brand new set of Nitto tires all the way around. I am reluctantly selling the truck because I need the space in my garage for some upcoming projects.
