Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1979 GMC K10 4x4. The truck is a rolling chasis that includes a rebuilt 400 Turbo transmission and a 203 Transfer case. Radiator is in great shape, power steering pump and AC are still connected in the engine compartment.Interior is red and is in great shape. No cracks in the dash or rips in the seat. Truck has power windows that work.Rear window is a split sliding window. PS door will not open. The body is in pretty good shape. The DS fender has a dent, minor rust around rocker panels and cab corners. There is a crease in the bed on the DS under the fuel door. Both bumpers are in great shape. The rear bumper is a heavy duty drop bumper. The hood is in great shape. It does not have a crease in the center which is very common for this body style truck. The truck was bought a couple years ago as a project. I started on the back half of the truck before I took another job which sent me to Texas for half a year. I have not had time to work on the truck since then. I was able to remove the bed, fuel tanks, fuel lines, rear brake lines, axle, and springs. The rear frame was disassembled wire wheeled, cleaned, and coated with POR 15. POR 15 is a rust treatmet coating. The frame was reasassembled and a 4 inch killer off road design lift was installed on the rear. The old springs and axle were reinstalled "loosely" just for transportation purposes. The front of the truck has not been touched. The truck comes with a set of 6 inch front lift springs, a set of american made rocker panels, a set of 3/4 ton axles and the orignal 1/2 ton axles, and an extra door. To completely restore the truck (which was my orignal plan) the truck would need a motor, new fender, rocker panels and cab corners replaced. The front half of the truck coated and a paint job. To just make this truck a driver it needs the fuel lines installed, rear brake lines instaled, new rear leaf springs, a motor, fuel tanks mounted, and the rear bumper installed. Overall the truck is in great shape. I would rate the interior at 95% rating and the body at a 80% rating. Very rare to find a truck like this in such good shape in this part of the country. I have a clear title. I can assist with delivery if need be. The first 25 miles will be free. After that the amount will depend on how many miles I will have to drive to meet you. Any shipping expense will have to be paid upfront. The truck will have to be flat towed on a trailer. This truck cannot be shipped on a tow dolly.
