5 Day Auction - Being Sold At No Reserve - Highest Bid Wins Over 50 Detail photos Plus A Video This is an 1968 Ford Mustang 200 I6 Automatic. Rare options include Bench seat, turn signal hood, remote mirror, wire wheel caps & Disc brakes. The factory color combination is Royal Maroon w/ Red standard interior. It was found sitting locally in Southern California, in the second owner's garage. Was found covered & sitting since 1987. The second owner purchased it from the original owner in 1985, she lived in Los Angeles, Calif. as well. A true California mustang that remained indoors the last 25+ years. Has it's original Black plate, being last registered in 87'. Beautiful undercarriage including floor pans, torque boxes & frame rails. Most important, the underneath has never been restored & remains original. Has it's original quarters & never were in a accident. Was repainted once it's factory color over 25+ years ago but the trunk/jambs are the original paint. Engine compartment aprons are straight & are very clean. Panels appear to be all original & the body is pretty solid for it's age Overall, the body is straight & is a fine example of a Born/Raise Los Angeles Pony.The interior still remains the original bench seat & red interior. Interior appears to be all original but has a newer dash cap & deluxe door panels. As you can see by the photos, it's in pretty clean shape for it's age. A original 200 I6 1 barrel, C4 Automatic with Disc brakes. I had the carburetor rebuilt, clean the fuel lines, empty the old gas & added newer gas . Started right up & I had it idle for 20 minutes. A little work on the brakes were done & was driving it in the same day. It's in running/driving condition. Shifts into all gears & brakes as well. Can use a tune up(tlc) to make it a daily driver for someone. Overall, a real original California 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe with a rare color combination.
