PROJECT CAR, POTENTIAL DAILY DRIVER For Bid, 1973 Volvo 1800ES. This is a project car that wants to be cared for in a garage, and I can't give it that. So it is time to sell it. This car is a good candidate for rebuild. The car always starts and runs even after setting all winter. Nice looking auto, even in it's current shape I get compliments on it. The car runs rough and has a ticking sound at 3000 RPM, and has been making that sound all the time I've owned it. The transmission shifts and the Overdrive works. With a bit of work this car could be a decent daily driver. The more ambitious will want to take it and bring it back to it's orginal shape. I drive it during the summer and put it up for the winter. It has all it's glass, but the windshield is showing it's age. The interior is OK, needs cleaning and a few parts to make it complete, and a new dash pad which I have. The body is straight, but has rust in the usual places, but not so badly they can't be fixed. Included are new floor boards and other various parts I've accumulated. SHIP OR PICK UP: I am able to help buyer with shipping, but buyer will need to arrange payment of all shipping costs. Alternatively, it could be picked up and driven. I drove it from Sacramento to Seattle when I bought it years ago, but I am not recommending driving this a long distance, because I can't promise how it will perform. Because of its age NO WARRANTY is offered.
