For sale a two owner survivor, the last year of this elegant Eldorado design (1979-85) before a major downsizing in 1986. Bought new by Sydney and Kay Cole of Mulholland Drive, Bel Air, California, delivered December 10, 1985 to the famous Casa De Cadillac dealership of Sherman Oaks California. The moonroof was installed two days later on December 12,1985 by ASC, the only vendor approved by GM at a cost of $905.00, the installation decal is still attached to the passenger door well.I am the second owner, purchasing the car from the Cole estate in 2005. The car is completely original, has never been in an accident, with zero rust anywhere, paint is in good but not perfect condition with clear coat still shiny with minor flaws, chrome is excellent and blemish free, interior is excellent with minor flaws in two small areas, all rubber insulation and seals in perfect condition. Car has lived it's entire life is sunny California, garaged and well maintained, this is a rust free west coast car. The engine is quiet with plenty of power, the transmission shifts smoothly and handling is nimble with the added option of "Touring Suspension" . Original window sticker, leather bound dealer owners manuals, with original owners name, all GM brochures and gold key. Original never used emergency tire still in trunk. All registration records from day one to present as well as most maintenance records and receipts included. The original vintage California vanity plates are still on the car and transferable to another California owner. California Car Cover comes with car. Car is smogged and current registration through 2012. Filler pieces around front and rear bumper will need replacing, after market kits are readily available online.Vinyl Top - will likely need replacing at some point, w/ hairline cracks from sun damage, but still presentable, I've gotten a quote for $350.00, Upholstery - In excellent condition, with the exception of a side vinyl panel ( see photo) on the passenger seat wear the previous owners wheel chair tore through, and the leather arm rest stitching is unraveling in two small sections, simple fixes.Moonroof - motor will engage but will move only slightly, will not close completely, with about a 1/2" gap, rubber seal intact so rain does not enter.Cassette player does not work. Im seeking a fair price and not advertising this car as a mint or time capsule never driven vehicle, the car is 27 years old with normal age related issues. I've been fair in revealing the flaws, but with minor TLC they can easily be repaired. I have garage space for only two cars and need the room for my other vintage car.
