Gorgeous jeep CJ7. This one was totally rebuilt by harverys jeep specialists in long beach CA, now Jeep solutions. New 4.0 EFI conversion was done JUST In NOVEMBER 2011. I have over 15k receipts on this car--pages and pages and pages. The 4.0 means it can cruise on the highway at 75+ and go up hills easily, accelerates strongly and gets 15-18 mpg-- its a 190 hp engine and in such a light cars as a CJ, it makes it useable as a daily driver. The 4.2 has no power on the highway--ask anyone who owned one, and the other engines are not very good either-- realistically, you need either an EFI 4.0 or an EFI chevy 350, which is more complicated and thirstier. This jeep was outfitted with a/c, an automatic transmission, and a modern kenwood stereo with blaupunkt speakers that fit in the original slots and sound great-- and the stereo even takes a USB memory stick for music. The transmission shifts smoothly. Even the horn works! The solenoid was just replaced a few weeks ago. Basically tons of work has been done to make this jeep work like a modern car, and it looks amazing and gets a lot of attention. It also had urethane bushings put in in october--and the list goes on and on. The interior is clean for a jeep and the seats are comfortable. I wanted to keep this one for a long time, but the need for cash means it must go. Get one thats already had everything done. The title is clear.
