Full payment is required within 7 days from auction end. If any of the terms are not met, the buyer will be reported to Ebay and the car will be made available to other interested parties. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. That being said, let's get to the FUN part! For your consideration, I offer this good running, smooth shifting, reliable 1979 Datsun 280ZX that's in good restorable condition considering its age. The silver/black color combo is tough to beat and hard to find. Here's a chance to own a classic car that's sure to appreciate in value for a very small investment. It's not mint by a long shot, but its a great little car to drive AS-IS or restore. I owned a 280 ZX in the past and loved it. So, when this one became available locally, I couldn't resist. Unfortunately, in order to raise some cash for my restaurant, I've decided to part with one of my 3 projects. Overall, the car is pretty clean for its age. However, there is typical rust here and there (please refer to pics) a small dent in the hood, some cracked paint on the roof (covered by tape) and a crack in the windshield. The chassis does have rust which I've tried to document with several pictures in the ad. The car starts right up, runs good, shifts smoothly and has a current inspection sticker. The oil was changed today and the master cylinder was replaced yesterday. Issues? A minor exhaust leak can be noted from the engine compartment. The gas gauge and speedometer are not working (But the gas tank is completely full). The radio needs to be fiddled with. The AC system is complete but the freon eventually leaks when you try to charge it. (The heat is fine.) I wish I could finish it, but I have neither the time or the cash to do it justice. I have 2 other older cars (both insured as classics) and had intended on adding this car to my policy. Unfortunately, before I could register it, a few pressing bills came up and I'll have to part with her. The car is parked at my restaurant located in Staten Island. I'm within 15 minutes of the following bridges: The Verrazano, The Goethals, The Outerbridge, and The Bayonne. Please feel free to ask any questions or to set up a test drive. Thanks for your interest and God bless!
