For sale is a 1970 AMC Javelin SST with a 304 V8 and an automatic transmission. I'm assuming the mileage probably rolled over once because it says 06648, so there is probably 106648 actual miles on it. i bought this car through Ebay about 3 years ago from a guy in Illinois. I had planned on getting it restored but because of financial issues and restraints on free time, I never got around to it. about a year ago the passenger side window got broken by a golf ball, so it has been sitting outside for a year exposed to the weather, so rain water has been getting into it thru a broken window. I recently acquired a replacement window but have not installed it. The interior is very ragged and would need to be restored. The motor runs kinda rough, but the car does not drive because of a broken transmission return line. The body is probably the best thing about this car becuase it is in good condition and it is straight, small scratches and a tiny amount of rust being the worst damage it has (see pics). the vinyl top would need to be redone because it is starting to peel away in one of the corners, with a small amount of rust beneath it. I did purchase a very nice rebuilt AMC 390 V8 that i was planning on putting in this car, and i will be putting that up for auction separately in a day or two.
