THIS IS BEING LISTED AGAIN AS THE PREVIOUS BUYER DID NOT UNDERSTAND THAT THIS VEHICLE DOES NOT RUN AND CAN MOST LIKELY NOT BE FIXED IN MY DRIVEWAY WITH A BATTERY AND STARTER. THIS TRUCK DOES NOT RUN AND MUST BE TOWED. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY - THIS TRUCK IS SOLD EITHER FOR PARTS OR REPAIR I have a 2000 Chervolet Silverado 2500 regular pickup with 4 wheel drive for sale. This truck was formerly owned by DPW in Washington DC and used as a plow and sander truck. It only has 31K miles. The condition is rough and is not running. I purchased it at a government auction without a key and not running. I guessed the milage to be 46K for the title so I could get a key. Once I turned the key in the truck the actual milage is around 31K. I could not get it running, got it to turn over once and that was it although I did not replace any parts so the engine may be okay but since I was unable to test any parts of the mechanicals, it is strictly sold as is and consider that nothing works. Battery is dead and starter did not work either. The rear pickup body is all kinds of dented with no tailgate. It was used to hold a sander and the truck has the hydraulics for that. The cab part of the truck has a dent behind the passenger side, driver door and a small one by the front fender. Front tires seem almost new thread -wise but they will only hold air for a few days. The rear tires are worn out. The undercarriage has significant rust on all parts of the frame as well as other parts. Although there are no holes or cracks in the frame from rust, metal has flaked off the frame. The roof of the cab has rust above the top of the windshield and the roof has a hole from a removed light bar and a hole by the antenna caused by rust. Gas tank supports are rusted and I have new ones but not installed, the emergency brake cable is cut and there are probably other issues. The interior is decent although dirty and all glass is intact. It is too much of a project for me and considering just selling it to the junkyard for parts but there may be some brave souls here on ebay who can use the parts or fix up for a yard truck. Please understand, this will not run and it has to be towed. SOLD STRICTLY AS-IS.
