Vehicle Detail
Bought a new toy so it's time to sell my corvette convertible. It's a 2008 model, 18500 miles, silver with black top and seats, navigation, automatic, heads up display, POWER CONVERTIBLE TOP (this isn't on most convertibles), 3LT, 430 HP LS3. Basically, there is no options that this one doesn't have!!! There is still factory warranty on the car until 12-22-12 or 41,110. The reason the milage is not 36k miles is because this car was a personal car to a local Chevy dealership owner driven ONLY by him. He's a friend of the family and when his two years was done on depreciation I bought it. So I'm the only owner of the car although it was driven by him for two years under the dealership owner. This car is used as our 4th car driven only by me on sunny days just like when it was his. It's never been in a wreck, doesn't have a dent or scratch on it period! It's garage kept (heated and cool) professionally washed and detailed!! The oil has been changed every six months cause as you can tell by the milage I don't drive it enough to align milage with oil changes. Mobile One synetic is the ONLY oil I run in any of my vehicles!!! PLEASE READ: I WILL NOT trade, I WILL NOT take low ball offers (so please don't waste my nor your time). The car books at $42,375 on NADA clean retail, the wholesale is $37,650 MY RESERVE IS BELOW WHOLESALE BY A BUNCH. So bid to win cause someone is going to get a STEAL on this vehicle. I will assist with shipping as much as possible I've bought and sold cars and boats on ebay and helped them all with shipping. Since we're in Oklahoma it's about $400-500 on a car hauler about anywhere in the US. Enclosed will run you about $1500. You'll need to arrange the shipping for yourself but I will help however!! On Feb-13-12 at 17:39:25 PST, seller added the following information: I was just asked a question about if it has the Z51 package and wasn't sure so I went and looked at the inside of the glovebox (RPO codes) and YES it does have the Z51 package which is another $1700. I should go up on my reserve and buy it now but I won't. I was also asked about the magnetic ride control which I believe is the dual-flow exhaust and honestly I don't know if it has that our not. If someone will find the RPO code I'll look it up in the glovebox and let everyone know. If it's a visual thing email me and I'll look at that as well. Tires, I'm not a tire guy but it's no where close to needing tires. My best guess would be at least 50% tread left. My new GTR is getting out of the paint shop (took a new black car and had it painted orange) next week and I could use the garage space. I still won't give it away and this price I'm offering here on ebay is my lowest I'll take!! If it doesn't sell here I"ll probably give it to my dad to drive for the summer and sell it in the fall, no biggie to me, and it would THRILL him ;0). On Feb-13-12 at 17:55:50 PST, seller added the following information: GREAT news I found the Magnetic Ride Control RPO FE3 and YES it has it as well. Guess I should really raise the price. From the reading I did on this it has nothing to do with the exhaust so if someone can find out what the code is for that I'll happily look it up. Since I saw this car it ALWAYS turned my head and I wanted it when he was done depreciating it. I don't race I just think it's a GREAT looking car that turns heads where ever it goes!! So loan value on this is at $44,975 via NADA and wholesale is over $38k my reserve is roughly $11k less than loan value so bid to win and use the buy it now feature if you want to secure it now!! I'm taking my family snow skiing the 16-20th in Aspen. I will have my phone and will be answering questions and checking it I just won't be able to visually look one of these codes or anything up. On Feb-15-12 at 21:43:13 PST, seller added the following information: A couple people have emailed saying that the car doesn't have the dual flow exhaust, which as I understand it makes the sound of the car quiter at lower speeds and then opens up to allow more air flow. From what they're saying it increases HP by 5-10. I googled it tonight and couldn't find any supporting info on this but they sounded like they knew what they were talking about. I did find that this system started on the Z06 and was adopted into the C6 however instead of 3" like the Z06 it's 2.5" piping. Not sure what the option cost from the factory but I'm sure it's not worth the 5-10HP gain. If you want HP gain there's the US best corvette tuner here in Oklahoma City. He wins the stock quarter mile tune each year. My friend suggested that I take it to him so I called him and he said that it would run like $700 and he would recommend putting a ram air intake on it. He said the stock exhaust breathes fine so put the $$ somewhere else as the HP gain was worth the $$$. I wanted to do it but honestly I just never found the time to take it and leave it with him for 2-3 days. He said after the ram air and the tune the next HP for the dollar was headers. I'm sure there's going to be people that don't agree I'm just relaying what he told me, he did say that his tune was US known and wouldn't void any warranties as GM dealership call him and have him provide his tune to them for distribution (his words not mine). The car does have limo tint on it thus the reason the window look dark. If it sells on here I'll happily take it to the shop and put whatever percentage you'd like within legal limits.
