2003 Ford Mustang SVT COBRA Zinc Yellow Convertible Up for sale is our 2003 "Zinc Yellow" SVT Mustang Cobra. Featuring one of the greatest drivetrains Ford has ever put into production, this cobra boasts the the 4.6L Supercharged DOHC 281 and 6 Speed transmission producing nearly 400HP! This Cobra only has 20,800 original miles!! Other than a K&N Filter, and Magnaflow exhaust weld-ins, this car is factory from bumper to bumper.VIN: 1FAFP49Y43F378755------------------------------------------------------- Idle & Walk - Around Video: Background:This is a 2-Owner Texas vehicle with 20,800 original miles. The Carfax history report shows that the Cobra was wrecked with 11,600 miles and declared a total loss. It was then rebuilt, passed safety inspection and retitled to a new owner in Texas who put the remainder of the mileage on it before I acquired it.I cannot state how or where the vehicle was wrecked as it was purchased already repaired. I can state that a very good job was done on repairing the vehicle. Save for a couple of very minor rock chips on the front, the lines and paint on the vehicle are perfect. The previous owner mentioned that it was wrecked in the driver side rear quarter, there is no evidence that it was ever hit in the front.The good:The vehicle has 20,800 miles at the time of this listing. (I drive it daily so it may increase slightly)Engine is completely stock and runs like Brand-New. Shifts even better. It is a pleasure driving it.No check engine lights, or any light on for that matter. No overheating or any issue at all with running.A/C blows ICE COLD and heater works as well.Paint and body is in excellent condition. 9.5/102 owner car. Carfax values $1,020 below retail which would be: $20,100 The bad:Convertible top has a few scratches. 4 small license plate holes drilled in the front bumper.It is difficult to unlatch the passenger side lock, to allow the top to go down.Road noise when top is up, as the weather stripping is not making a perfect seal. I encourage ANYONE interested in this vehicle to come inspect and test drive as much as you would like. If you happen to live unreasonably far, I would be more than happy to let a 3rd party of your choosing inspect the vehicle at your cost. This car is not perfect but the price reflects that; If you can live with a little road noise or have the time to make a few adjustments this car is Perfect for you, you will never catch me with the top up anyway!This is a no reserve listing, the highest bidder wins.
