You are bidding on a very nice, clean and quiet driving 1980 International Scout II. It has been restored from the frame up and it in excellent running and driving condition. As many of you know 1980 was the last year of the Scout II which makes it even more of a collectors vehicle. This scout has the 345 V8 with Automatic 727 tourqeflight transmission. The engine does have dual flowmaster exhaust but is insulated well which makes for a quieter ride. The transmission shifts very well with no burn up from 2nd to 3rd like some do. The engine has been overhauled but do not know everything that was done but do know by the way it looks and sounds that everything is mechanically sound. A few things that I have done include. replace power steering pump, carb rebuilt and adjusted, new reservoir tank for wiper's, and also a new rear axel seal. All rear end fluid was changed at the time I serviced the axel seal. There are a few things that do not work on the scout. The fuel gauge does not work but all other electrical features work great. Blinkers, lights, radio, volt meter, oil pressure, odometer, and temp all work great. The air conditioning does not work but has all of the components to get working minus the hoses to the evaporator core. The 4x4 works great and has like new Warn locking hubs. It's a mostly original scout with only a few things different from how it was when it came off of the lot in 1980. The original color was winter white and it was painted back to the original color. Base coat/ clearcoat. The paint job looks great and has a good shine to it. Also it did have the flare stripe but I chose to go back with the regular stripe.
