Look at the pics this car includes the exhaust manifolds, factory heat shield and S tube. The story on this car is that the original owner hurt the engine when the oil pump drive shaft failed. The crank and rods will need work but the block looks to be fine. This is the original engine and it has the vin stamped in the back. The engine was wounded in 1983 and the car was parked and stored indoors. The second owners who we got it from bought it from the original owner around 1990. They stored it in their shop also. The second owner partially disassembled the engine to find what went wrong and found the damaged crank. This was as far as they got with it. As you can see the original owner had this car repainted green at some point as the original color was Saxony(yellow). This is your turn to finish this rare and very solid survivor. This car is in very good shape for an unrestored original. Take your time and look carefully at all the pics. The interior is in very good original condition. The headliner looks really good except there is a small mouse hole right next to the overhead console(see pics). The front seats are quite good but not perfect. The back seat looks like it has never even been sat in. The leather is nice and soft. The map pockets still have tight elastic bands! Look at how clear the gauges are and all the toggles are nice! Rust on this car is VERY minimal and is shown clearly in the pics. The trunk is great with only surface rust. If you have driven or restored an original car like this you know what a treasure this car is. Most people have lost parts and hacked these cars up. This one looks to have never been apart. The original owners manual is in the glove box and has all the original owners information typed into it. The front license plate frame is original from the selling dealer. I just don't see cars like much any more and hope we can find somebody who appreciates it like we do. This car is FOR SALE!
