It is hard to believe this 1986 Toyota 4 Runner is 26 years old and has 200,000 + miles. The level of care bestowed upon this one owner vehicle displays long term ownership and a high level of maintenance and upkeep. A California titled and registered vehicle since new this 4x4 is 100% solid and rust free. It is completely original inside and out. Please note; The exceptionally high auto check score. The engine starts right up, runs extremely well and sounds amazing. The idle is perfect and acceleration is positive. The 4 cylinder 22 R engine runs just as good as it did when it left the showroom floor. No issues. The clutch feels sensational and shifting through all the gears is effortless. The 4x4 engages properly and this vehicle has never been abused or taken off road. Mechanically she is superb. All electrical and other operating systems work like they should. The climate control system works properly and the air conditioning blows strong ice cold air. All gages show normal reading and the car runs way below the halfway mark on the temperature gage. Excellent oil pressure and compression. The entire drive train is fantastic and the brakes, steering and suspension are all in tip top condition. Cosmetically the truck is gorgeous. The body, chassis and frame are completely rust free since new. The paint finish is all original and looks unbelievable for it's age. There is some fading on the roof/hood. This only adds a nice original and honest patina. Other than the small dent above and below the drivers rear taillight (see pic) the body is near perfect. All of the chrome shines like new. Nice original wheels with good tires. All original body decals looks great! Removable hardtop..... All emblems, insignia logos, trim, bumper ends, lenses and lights are in tact and the truck is complete.The engine compartment is free from any excessive residues. The interior is stunning! The drivers seat shows minor wear on the side bolster. The carpeting, headliner and door panels are A+. The dash has a few minor cracks. All other buttons, knobs, switches, etc, are present. The rear seating area is comfortable, roomy and looks to have rarely been sat in.Please note: -The rear window goes up and down with the key but the inside switch may need to be replaced. -The radio is missing the face plate -The drivers side rear wheel center cap is missing. The truck comes with it's original "blue and yellow" plates which verifies it's California heritage. This is a fine example in every respect.
