This auction is for a 1947 Chevy 3100 series p.u. The cab has been chopped 6in. and sectioned 9in. bed was shortened, Hood is pancaked with grill integrated. Didn't do much smoothing to body, or fix cab corner rust (only rust left). Bottom of doors were cut off, and turned into rocker panels (To clear side pipes) all holes filled on firewall, factory cab mounts re-located, and all body panels sanded to metal, primed, and painted with DZ MTK Balboa blue. windshield is an old one that was cut down, and installed with new rubber, back window, and corner windows are polycarbonate, also installed with new rubber. There are no side windows, but a set of window regulators come with it. The Frame is the original 47 1/2 ton unit. It has been Z'ed in the front 5 in. and back 5 in. , all holes filled and boxed front to rear. front suspension is factory solid axle, with parallel leaf spring, with new shocks, new king pin set, new from shackle kit, new rear hanger bolts and bushings , new center link ends, rebuilt drag link ends, new wheel cylinders, brakes shoes, and brake drums. Rear suspension consists of, 62 Chevy 1/2 ton P.U. trailing arms (shortened, and boxed) with new bushings, Mazda P.U. coil springs, 72 b.o.p rearend with 3:42 posi, moser axles, new wheel cylinders, brakes shoes, and drums turned. engine is a driver side dipstick 350, with a mild performance rebuild, and new distributor, water pump, harmonic balancer, and carbs, all with less than 2000 miles. Transmission is a T.H. 350 auto, rebuilt with B+M red clutches (4 disk, instead of 3) stage 3 shift kit (manual shift/ no vacume modulator), B+M 2500 stall converter, and new driveline. rear tires are used M/T E.T street, on weld Typhoon wheels (sandblasted, painted). Front tires are new coker 6.40x15, on factory chevy steelies. other new parts are, aluminum radiator, master cylinder, and all rubber/ steel braked line. The electrical is from a 62 Chevy P.U. , and is in good shape. All headlights, tail lights, turn signals, dome light, dash lights work. Has new electric fuel pump, cooling fan, and an old ooga horn.
