For sale is my 1978 Model AMX. I purchased this vehicle from a ebay seller in 2003 and has been in storage from then till 2011 when I began repairs to floors and rocker panels. The engine was rebuilt by previous owner and has 30,000 miles it. The clutch pack was replaced and flywheel resurfaced at that time. I have no doubt of these facts as the motor runs good and strong and the transmission shifts smoothly and has no issues.I have driven it around my neighborhood many times and the car runs and drives well. Engine does not smoke,and has no oil leaks at all. This vehicle has not been titled since I bought it. Buyer will receive the tile (in previous owners name), a bill of Sale and all paperwork I received when I purchased it. This is a relisting with the reserve price lowered and a buy it now option added. This a very good price for a vehicle in this condition. Inspections are welcomed. Smog pump replaced 4. Fuel Pump replaced 5. Carburetor replaced 6. Power steering hose replaced 7. V-belts replaced 8. Battery and tray replaced 9. Rear brake pads, wheel cylinders, and brake lines replaced 10. New carpet from front to back 11. New floor mats front to back 12. All 7 factory speakers have been replaced with new ones and work well with the original radio. 13. Has a new set of Tiger paw radials. 14. Body has 3 coats of primer and 3 full coats of epoxy enamel in AMC alpine white. 15. Hatch and door jambs have been painted to match. 16. Factory Levi Seats are in very good condition with one 1” tear in seam of driver’s seat that has been repaired. 17. Passenger door hinge bushings have been replaced. Needs: 1. Master cylinder needs replacing. 2. Headlights and relay need replacing. 3. Driver’s door bushings need replacing and door drags some but shuts and latches properly. 4. All glass on vehicle is intact, but there are a few scratches and small pits. 5. Hood latch has been replaced with a common choke cable (original replacement unable to find). 6. Targaband was removed for painting and was not replaced but all parts are included and go with the vehicle. 7. Original spare and jack is missing but have the cover for them. 8. Engine compartment needs painting and detailing.
