68 Camaro up for auction. Car is solid with 70k I believe to be original miles. The title says exempt due to the age and 5 digit odometer;SS Tribute..Hugger Orange with black stripes, painted about a year ago. It has a fresh 355 with around 375 hp (very conservative 375hp), new th350 trans with a 2400 converter and 411 gear rear end with new auburn gear posi unit-New rear quarters installed-New tail panel-New cowl hood-One new front fender-One new floor pan -New tunnel-New upper and lower valance panels in front-New trunk lid-New trunk drop off panels on both sides-New outer rear wheel houses-Doors are perfect and had no rust at the bottoms or corners what so ever before paint not sure if they were the original shells or not. They were on it when I got it.-New upper dash panel-New inner fenders-New body bushings-Under carriage was blasted, epoxy primed, satin blacked, and then under coated in the rust prone areas, all seams were seam sealed. Door bottoms and all panel seams got por 15 for rust prevention.-Body stripped to a rolling shell and was taken to bare metal of course. Then wet sanded with 2000 and buffed. I painted it, and have done many paint jobs, its no hack work for sure. It looks great. I won't say flawless, but it looks pretty good. -Frame rails are perfect. There are 2 small patches in the trunk, but you can hardly tell it from looking at it. Not flawless but very clean.;Still has the original radio though not hooked up at the moment. All the wiring is there, the wiring harnesses for the whole car are in good shape, not all hacked up and cut and spliced everywhere. Everything works down to the dome light and cig lighter, heat etc...-The only option that needs looked at is the wipers. They work when you hit the button but you have to press it. Needs a switch I think. I have a receipt for it and the gears.-New rear shocks, bolts, mounts, U bolts. Shocks have been moved inboard of the leaf spring for tire clearance if someone wanted aluminum wheels with wider tires. Previous owner did this.-Suspension is pretty tight mainly because of the low mileage. It drives straight and doesn't pull driving or braking.Brand new 17x8 Ridler 675 polished wheels and 225/50/70 front and 255/50/17 new Nitto extremes all with 0 miles. Also have original rally wheels with like new tires with trim rings and center caps-Just purchased complete new SS 350 emblem kit, fuel cap,new door mouldings, rocker panel trim, wheel well mouldings, and new rear tail light bezels.-I'm sure there's a ton of things I have missed in this ad, it's just too much too list, literally;theres a ton of time, effort and money in this car. The body is straight and not full of mud, not wavy, the engine runs great, the car drives good, sounds good and looks good. That being said I'm not saying it's a done car, it's not a flawless 98 point show car either. It still needs a few things. It drives fine now and it will get up and go for sure, and sounds good doing it with a noticeable lope at idle. It has about 250 miles on it.Car is being sold as/where is and this auction may end due to local sale..May look at trades of 55-57 Chevy coupe, wagon, truck,Chevelle or?
