Gorgeous One Owner Properly Maintained 5 Speed FUN! Silver? I think it's called "Arctic Frost". Fancy. :-) You KNOW you've been wanting one for awhile....and this one is a fun 5 speed!?! MPG at NO RESERVE, TOO!?! I SOooooo love high mile Euro Cars!! The look, feel and enjoyment of a newer car without the price! Nobody will know your new toy has the miles unless they look! BMWs are known for their reliability. High ranking AutoCheck. This car no different. There IS a reason a car makes it to 200k and beyond....it's been properly cared for. I recently saw a car exactly like this one with 697k miles on it!! When you inspect my 40+pics as if you were here looking at the car yourself, you will think you are staring at an 80k car!! I hate to use the term "highway miles" (how did it reach the highway?) but this car reeks of it! Starting with the front below, the bumper cover and hood look great! Minimal rock chips. No damages ANYWHERE on the car to speak of. Driving lights are intact and functioning. I'm no bodyman, but I haven't seen a single sign of any repaints or repairs. The driver's headlight lens is a little dull, which is typical but while driving at night, you cannot tell. Left front turn signal bulb is out due to a damaged plug socket. I plan to replace if I can find a donor at the junkyard. Body panels are ridiculously straight. I can honestly count on ONE hand the amount of doordings on the car....all of which can be easily dentbusted if desired. NO DENTS anywhere on the car. Below you can see the 4 corner matching Michelin PILOT tires are very recent on vibration/damage free rims....smooth even at 100mph! The full size spare is ALSO a NEW matching Michelin. Michelin implies dealer installation/service. Fresh professional detail assures a factory shine inside and out! I assure you, you will not find a nicer car, especially for it's age, anywhere on Ebay. I've driven this car for well over 400miles to ensure it's reliability. Rear bumper cover is as nice as the front. No damages. Can't find any scrapes and zero signs of repaint or repairs! Above and below are the 2 typical rust bubbles no larger than a dime. Nothing under the trunk lip or rear valance. I tried to catch the angle, but I failed. There are a few minimal dings on the rear passenger door. Again....easily dentbusted if desired. Below is the final obvious "rust" location. It looks to be a simple rock chip that bled over time. No scaling or bubbles here. Nothing to speak of under any of the doors either. Some heavy rubbing compound and touchup paint will render this area justlikenew2u! This passenger side lens is perfect. Must be an updated replacement as there is no plastic dullness. The interior is easily a 9 out of 10. No excessive wear. No tear. No cuts rips or damages to the leather. Complete factory mats are included. Driver's bolster looks great! All power items like windows, mirrors, memory setting seats, dual climate control, radio, steering wheel and controls, cruise, etc work as they should. A/C pump kicks on but not sure of it's coldness due to the exterior temps at or below freezing lately. Moonroof opens and closes but doesn't flip up. Seems to be a little stiff as you can hear the motor operate in that direction at least. Below, you can see ALL the dummy lights illuminate upon startup with only the AirBag light on during run. This is typical on the older 5series cars. I don't have the expensive equipment to run the AirBag codes, altho it's most likely a sensor. No check engine light during the miles I have driven...ever. Only interior complaint I have is the cupholders are stuck in the open position! Rear full sized spare(New Michelin Pilot here), jack and tools are intact. Also, this car sports the 6disc CD Changer option, but the cartridge is missing. I believe Clarion made the changer for this car...those cartridges will work as suitable replacments. The engine compartment is so clean, you can eat off it! I can't see any signs of oil or coolant leaks. The oil and other checkable fluids are clean. Engine fires right up and runs smooth with zero noises or hiccups, even in the freezing temps as of late. ABS and Traction Control work as they should (drove in snow). Clutch feels exactly as it should, nice, firm grip with smooth actuation. No slip or pedal changes. Transmission works flawlessly with no grinding or noises. Every gear is smooth. Even the shifter is in excellent shape!! No overheating. No suspension looseness or popping noises. No slop as some BMWs experience from the control arm bushings. Car drives perfectly straight on any normal road with only the steering wheel being off center a hair. Absolutely zero pulling or wandering. Brakes are super strong and properly proportional. No pulsing or grinding. Engine oil has recently been changed. Battery looks to be recent. Coolant looks normal. Air filter is recent. Cabin filters looks decent. Power steering fluid looks normal. As you can see below, I have all the manuals. Sorry no window sticker. BOTH the factory keyless entry keys come with the car and from what I remember, both actually work!! I have only ONE complaint about this car....the fuel gauge reading. For some (genius?) reason, BMW engineers decided it was a good idea to have a horseshoe fuel tank design. This incorporated 2 (TWO) fuel sending unit measurements....took the measurements, added them then divided them for an average (from what I've read). Well....it's a typical failure for one to fail. What happens, Eric??? The gauge is wrong. It still works, but reading is 1/4 tank off....I found out the hard way when I ran out of gas. Easy solution....when the car reaches 1/4 tank left....treat it as EMPTY. Or replace the sending unit that is bad. You can still fill it as normal. And the tank will read accordingly....as a normal usage....just kind of similar to setting your alarm clock 15mins early! Supposedly there is a way to determine which side is bad by using the information via the instrument cluster and keyturns/brake pedal pushes. But I don't know how to do it properly. Hardly worth messing with if you remember to simply put gas in before the 1/4 mark, as I have. This car is TRULY a BID BUY AND DRIVE ANYWHERE WITH 100% CONFIDENCE car. NO RESERVE!!
