The front fenders were the only body parts replaced. It's not a showtruck just yet, but with a little more love it could be. BUY IT NOW Bonus! Buy it Now and get NEW vinyl seat upholstery from AutomotiveInteriors.com IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK Through Ebay or CALL or TEXT ME 770*866*6307 About the truck: The truck has new red paint, new tail lights, and new chrome grille pieces. It's located in North Georgia off I-85 in Braselton, GA 30548. It has a 1968 mustang 200 ci engine in it that is not currently running after sitting here for a few months. The truck bed needs wood. Frame is solid with only surface rust but nothing through at all. Has original drum brakes. Original flathead motor is included in the sale. It will need to be rebuilt to have it running again. Windows and doors operate as they should. Interior is NOT restored yet, but does have original seat, dash instruments, and heater. Tailgate has a dent on the top. Could be replaced or bondo and repaired. Truck has new glass on all windows. Have original steering column included. Original panels included. Bill of sale - no titles on 1946 vehicles in GA. Check with your state for details. Wheels: If you'd like the wheels shown in the pic, they are $500. They are 20" American Racing with brand new tires. Otherwise, you are bidding on the truck with factory wheels. Factory wheels with nice chrome hubcaps would look amazing on this truck as well. You can find them on ebay new mock originals for $120. Answer: Sorry, I ran into this last time I listed something. I guess I have to have a reserve price for the buy it now price to stay. I don't want to screw up my good standing with ebay, so I'm going to let the auction play out and if it goes over 6k, I will definitely honor the offer to include new seat upholstery. Question: I'd like to see it before I bid. Is this possible. Answer: Just text me 770*866*6307 or message me through ebay and we can set up a time. I live in Braselton, GA. Question: Is the engine complete with transmission? Answer: Yes, the engine is complete. There is a transmission. Engine was running a while back, but I think it may need the battery charged or a new starter. It's not cranking fast enough to start it up. I figured whoever buys it will drop a new engine in it or rebuild the original V8 flathead motor that is included in the sale as well. There is a carburetor air filter that was just off in the picture too. Come see it if you want. On Jan-28-12 at 11:06:57 PST, seller added the following information: I've been getting quite a few texts and calls. Please read the ad. I'm not trying to be rude, but I am answering questions that are already in the ad. I wanted to post a few things people have asked me in this revision so I can try to cut down the inquiries. Question: Would you trade for XXX? Answer: I am not really interested in a trade. I sold my daily driver and I need to buy a new truck. So, I either need some money or I may consider trading for an F150 or Dodge Ram plus some cash. But, I am not interested in trading for a boat, motorcycles, or anything else. Question: Can I come buy it today and you end the auction? Answer: Money talks, but there are A LOT of watchers on this auction and I don't think it would be fair to end the auction. I probably can't do that anyway because of ebay's policies since there is no reserve. Question: Does the truck run good? Answer: I've seen it running before, but I haven't owned it too long but it's been sitting for a while now. I've never had it out racing around town. If I was going to keep the truck, I'd rebuild the flathead motor. Original flathead is included and if you've ever heard one running before, you know what I'm talking about. Question: Can you ship the truck overseas? Answer: I honestly wouldn't know the first thing about doing that, but if I get the cash up front and you can make the arrangements, I'd be more than happy to help you get it anywhere you're trying to go with it. I appreciate the interest. Thanks. On Jan-29-12 at 06:32:35 PST, seller added the following information: Got several texts asking about the original transmission. I didn't mention it in the description, but there are pictures of it if you click the link. I figured I would post the other parts so you know what you're getting along with the truck... Original transmission and engine Original fenders Original steering column
