Vehicle Detail
For Sale is my 1965 Buick Lesabre, it comes with a rebuilt 430 (430CU) engine with a stage 1 camshaft in it. The mileage is only 14140, the only real use out of it after the rebuild was a trip from Georgia to New York. Before I explain the price let me explain a bit about the history of the car. I purchased this car while I was stationed at F.t. Benning Georgia and blew the original wildcat engine. As a hobby/ interest I had a 430 taken from another car and rebuilt into this one. After Moving to New York the car had not seen much use and was pretty much in storage at the home of a family member. In 2008, the brakes went out on it and before I could install a new/ rebuilt master cylinder; I left for my last deployment. Upon returning 2009, I installed the cylinder but the breaks are still squishy and i'm hoping it just needs bleeding, I haven't been able to get around too it and it's been rotting in my parents front yard ever since. The elements of the weather are starting to take it's toll on the body as it's been outside and i'd rather have this car (or at least the engine and parts) in the hands of someone who can appreciate it better. The car itself runs just fine, however while I assume it just needs the brakes bled- I cannot be certain so someone may have to TOW it if neccessary. I'll take a better offer depending on how much of a pain it is to take it away. Otherwise ask away about anything about the car. It will come with all paperwork as well as all the notes/ reciepts from the mechanics that worked on it during the build. On Jan-29-12 at 18:06:27 PST, seller added the following information: As to popular demand, I have included some pictures of the interior as well as some body damage. As you can see some parts of the body has rusted through, but pretty much just this part of the car here and a hole that rusted through the hood. As for the interior, the vinyl is almost all intact. The inside door on the rear passenger side is a bit damaged, the dashboard at the moment is missing the radio and ashtray but I DO still have them (I removed the radio in the hopes for upgrading it but never did).
