Vehicle Detail
Here is my 1984 Ford F-150 Flareside. It has a Mustang GT 5.0L that has been bored .020" over and balanced. It has the factory iron cylinder heads which have been ported and polished. It has a comp cams double roller timing set, and a Ford Racing X303 roller camshaft which has .238" of duration and .544" of lift both intake and exhaust. Trickflow roller lifters and comp cams pushrods with proform roller rockers. It also has a Edelbrock 500cfm carburetor and Edelbrock performer RPM intake that has been port matched to the heads. It has an electric fan and aluminum accessory brackets and pulleys for a serpentine belt. It has a Procomp ignition system, and dynomax headers, 2.5" exhaust with cutouts and Thrush welded mufflers. The transmission is a 5 speed out of a 89 f-150 with a hurst shifter. It has a brand new driveshaft from Marietta Joint and Clutch with new u-joints. The rearend is the factory 8.8" with 3:73 ratio gears, and Lakewood traction bars. The interior is very nice in this truck, it has brand new carpeting and the seat is out of a later model Ford truck, sound deadner and insulation covering the floor of the cab, not to much road noise, the dash pad is perfect without any cracks, has XL trim with wood grain bezels, also has custom white face gauges and a Grant classic series wood steering wheel. The radio is a JVC headunit with factory speakers in doors, 6x9 pioneers in the rear cab corners and a kicker 650 watt amp with 2 JL audio 10" subwoofers, sounds really good on just about any style of music, if you can hear it over the great sounding exhaust. The truck was painted the Low Gloss Black that you see here approximately 6 months ago. It also has custom made headlight covers, and he parking lights have all been smoked. Rear tail lights are 1951 Pontiac style with blue dots. The windows are tinted to 5%. Vintage aluminum slot wheels. This is a very fun truck to drive altho in my mind still a project truck, Great for local cruise ins,not to many of these around anymore, gets lots of comments everywhere it goes. The truck s 27 years old therefore it is being sold as is, no warranties.
