Vehicle Detail
Porsche 944 951 Turbo 1987 I am selling my 1987 Porsche 944 turbo with 125,500 miles. This car has been tastefully modified with the air and fuel system upgrades. The Auto Authority package. Chipped with the DME, KLR and Auto Authority mass airflow meter. Added was the Lindsey Racing boost enhancer to 12 psi. The exhaust is a complete 3''stainless steel pipe and 4"Cat. "Borla exhaust" The front suspension was completely upgraded with the MK2 struts with adjustable camber, and adjustable coil-over springs. The rear suspension was upgraded to MK2 coil-over shocks with adjustable with spring helpers. The brakes were upgraded ceramic pads and all the rotors are drilled slotted German manufactured. The rims are the very rare Strotek Belgen phone dial style built exclusively by OZ Italy for Porsche. "Staggered" 17X7 front and 17X9 rear. Wrapped in brand new Toyo Proxes all seasons tires, 215/45/17 front and 245/40/17 rear. This car should dyno at about 300+ horsepower. Overall the car's appearance is an 8 out of 10. There is a small 4 inch line on the driver side door below the door guard. Black exterior with tan leather 911 seats. The sound system is top of the line Pioneer MP3/DVD player with AM/FM Stereo. One concern the sunroof was disabled. It doesn't tilt, but it is removable by unlatching the release levels as per the factory removal procedure. The complete interior is beige leather with no cuts or throne to the seats. The dashboard however have a couples of hairline cracks. Additionally the hood, the nose valance and the headlight lids are covered with a flat black carbon vinyl fabric, to help reduce flying rock dings, loose asphalt and other debris during highway driving speeds (Besides it looks really cool). It is removable. The clutch, the water pump and the timing belts were replaced at 101.000 miles. The next major schedule maintenance is due at 151.000 miles as per Porsche's recommendation (50K per timing belt). The AC system is good, the power steering works and everything else seems to be in good working conditions. The rear hatch works fine, alone with the rear defroster and the rear wiper The previous owner was an auto technician for Paul Miller Porsche dealer in Parsippany, NJ. which was where I purchased this car with the odometer reading 112.600 miles The car is equipped with the security system, SST VIPER Alarm with LCD remote starts the car up to a distance of a mile.
