1975 Honda XL250

Very nice 1975 Honda XL250, no reserve. Starts easily, idles well, no smoke, strange noises etc. Transmission snaps firmly through all gears. All lights and controls function properly.. The tires are in excellant condition. The aluminum lower fork tubes show some oxidation but the chrome on the uppers is excellent! The seat is original, light scratches on paint, small scratch on top of tank(see picture) basically some of the small cosmetic imperfections you would expect but still very nice for a 37 year old motorcycle. Over-all a very nice, mechanically sound bike that would serve well on the street or trail. This is the second of two of these XL's that I own. The first was sold two weeks ago. They are identical with the exception that this one has more miles. I am the second owner of this bike. It runs great, and has excellent compression. The original owners manual is included, and the original tool kit. You will also note that the original battery cover is still in place! (see picture) This is not a "barn find" that has been cleaned up. This is a 37 year old "garage baby" that has been started frequently and ridden. Sorry for some of the fuzzy pictures....... the weather here has not cooperated and therefore the pictures are taken inside.
