Did you know nearly EVERY movie has a Volvo in it? Never noticed?? You will now! Here's another mechanically sound Volvo that's justlikenew2u! You may have missed out on all my latest NO RESERVE auctions....don't let this one get away! It's a spectacular candidate for a work car, 2nd car or teen car. I've driven it for easily 400 miles to ENSURE it's reliability. Please inspect my excellent feedbacks and enjoy the 30+ pics! BID BUY AND DRIVE ANYWHERE WITH 100% CONFIDENCE! If you know your S70/V70 Volvo line, the 1998 model was the one to own! Older reliable 850 drivetrain with the newer styling. This car's exterior has seen better days....about a 7 out of 10 or better in appearance. Paint has an excellent professional detailed shine. The front bumper cover has some corner scrapes and hood has typical rock chips. All have been touched up with similar silver paint. Body has no signs of any major repairs or dents. Left front driving lamp lens is cracked and the lower center plastic cosmetic grill is missing. The left headlight wiper is missing it's blade. Amazingly the remainder of the body panels have minimal dings. Front and rear tires, altho 2 different brands, are nearly new. Front match. Rears match. Rims are decent with minimal soccer mom rash and are vibration free, even at 80 mph on the highway! Below you can see the light upper left fender scrape. Not sure why, but the driver's door (only) has been repainted...the mismatch looks worse in the pic compared to in person. Volvos don't rust and there isn't any visible rust on the car except for the edges of the painted door(not to be confused with rust bubbles or holes or chunks)....only seen if you get down on your hands and knees to look. Rear bumper cover has...had plenty of nicks but have also been touched up. Tiny little puncture in the left corner. Vinyl trim looks nice over the entire car. Roof sports the roof rack mounts for skis, bike rack or....??? Rear tires are as nice as the fronts. BFGoodrichs here. Below you can see another small scrape. Minor and hardly noticable. Above is a golfball sized dent on the fender..... ....and finally the last of the exterior eyesores, the scrape on the right front bumper cover. Below you'll notice the interior is an easy 8 out of 10. No irritations to speak of. Leather is nice with no cuts, rips or tears. Even the driver's bolster looks minimally worn. Carpet looks nice. No cracks in the dash. All power items(cruise, windows, sunroof, radio, mirrors, power HEATED seats, etc) work as they should. Air Conditioning holds pressure but will need a recharge come spring. All the dash lights illuminate as they should upon startup with no lights on during run. I've also repaired the ABS/TRAC light issue that is common on ALL the S/V70/850 line. Altho the there aren't any factory floormats, the rear sports the utility mats....and....the 3rd row setup!! Complete spare tire/jack setup is intact. Above...right door panel has an odd stain in it. Factory manuals and one key are included. Sorry no keyfob. Finally, onto the properly maintained engine compartment! It's a bit on the ugly side due to the rust-proofing coating sprayed on the fenderwells. Not seen is the fresh Interstate battery, new spark plugs, cap, rotor, and oil change. Also note the timing belt was changed a little over 3years/40k miles ago, plenty of life left! More importantly, signs of Volvo dealer servicing. No signs of any major oil or coolant leaks. Fresh oil and filter change. New spark plugs, Bosch cap and rotor. Altho the starter is a lil noisy(needs a shim maybe?), the engine starts, runs and drives excellent. Transmission shifts properly and low pressure turbo is strong and smooth. All Wheel Drive Drivetrain is noise and vibration free. Suspension is squeak, rattle and noise free also...car drives straight and smooth with only a tiny bit of left pull...most likely from my local truck driven roads.
