Vehicle Detail
Private seller listing 2004 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro rare Dolphin Gray on Black leather color combo currently PA inspected until April 1, 2012. The condition of the car inside and out is most likely one of the nicest you will find for a 2004. Car has power sliding moonroof, premium package, cold weather package, and the 17 inch sport package wheels. Power drivers seat, power windows/locks, heated front seats, Audi premium sound with 6-disc CD changer and Sirius radio, and Quattro AWD. Over 30 mpg highway. Body is straight and original paint shines like new. Black interior is extremely clean and well cared for. The following parts have been replaced all by certified Audi technicians: All new brake pads/rotors & caliper on all four corners (January 2012 $1200) New all-season tires on all four corners (August 2011 $750) Timing belt replaced at 90K miles ($950) Full synthetic oil changed every 3-4K miles religiously. Common Audi issues have all been done within last 15K miles (All four window regulators are new, cam tensioner/valve cover gasket replaced (to fix minor oil leak), new thermostat, new coolant temp sensor, new fuel pump/fuel filter, new control arms, all four ignition coils and spark plugs replaced). *Currently will need to have cooling system looked into (waterpump could be on its way out as the circulation of coolant is not good). Transmission and clutch feel as good as new with no issues at all. Engine pulls very strong. Suspension feels tight. This car was purchased 5 years ago certified coming off a lease and has been babied throughout it's life. I am a longtime VW/Audi owner and used this mainly as a highway commuter for work driving alone (which explains why it is in such great shape). I have had a seperate work vehicle for the past year and this car has been getting very little usage at all. My plan was to get the brakes done, which I did, and put it up for sale in mint condition. Driving home from the shop I noticed my temp gauge at about three-quarters of the way running hot and the engine light came on so I took it right back. My mechanic says there is little circulation of coolant which means the water pump needs to be replaced most likely, but he was not sure. I really do not have the time or money to look into the issue anymore with two newborns at home and a very busy job so I am listing the car as is. He did not recommend driving it for more than a couple miles as to not risk overheating until it gets fixed. This auction is a no minimum, no reserve auction...highest bidder takes it. Feel free to come take a look and take it around the block PRIOR to auction ending...but once the auction is done, all sales are final. I try to be as straightforward as possible but, as with all used car purchases, it is the buyer's responsibility to inspect the car themselves prior to auction ending.
